If you are one of the lucky ones that will enjoy a day off this beautiful Monday for Martin Luther King Day then do consider visiting the natural wonders of one of the many national parks in the US. All 398 national parks across the country will have free admission today in commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Roughly 49 places have been recognized by the National Park Service’s Register of Historic Places for their association with the civil rights movement and will have travel itineraries detailing their significance.
